About the Service
The tension you carry where you can't reach.
Your core is more than muscle. Layers of fascia wrap and connect the organs of your abdomen and pelvis, and that connective tissue responds to everything — posture, injury, surgery, childbirth, stress, and the things you've never quite put down. Over time it tightens, adheres, and restricts. You feel it as a low ache, a bracing you can't release, or a heaviness that has no obvious source.
Visceral alignment works with that layer directly. Using slow, sustained myofascial contact, your therapist meets the restriction rather than forcing through it, and gives the tissue room to soften and reorganize on its own terms.
Benifits
What visceral alignment delivers.
-
Released Restriction — softer, freer movement through the core and hips
-
Pelvic & Digestive Ease — support for tension held low in the body
-
Emotional Release — the nervous system unwinds alongside the tissue
-
Postural Change — a core that no longer braces against itself
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before
Consulation
An unhurried conversation about your goals, your history, and your comfort.
During
Slow Fascial Work
Sustained, intentional contact through the abdomen or pelvis. You stay clothed or draped, and you stay in control of the pace.
After
Rest & Integrate
Water, warmth, and a gentle day. The body keeps responding for hours afterward.
Your session, explained.
A note on eligibility & safety
Offered by certified specialists only. This is intimate, deliberate work, and consent is revisited throughout the session — you can pause or stop at any point. Please consult your physician first if you are pregnant, have had recent abdominal or pelvic surgery, or are managing a hernia, active infection, IUD complications, or an acute digestive or reproductive condition. Post-surgical guests need surgeon approval.
Visceral Alignment FAQ
What does it do?
Slow, sustained myofascial contact releases restriction in the connective tissue surrounding the abdomen and pelvis, easing physical tension and the emotional holding that often travels with it.
Is it painful?
No. The pressure is deep but never forced. Your therapist works at the edge of what the tissue will give, and you set the pace.
